Toy Boxes and Childrens Toy Storage
I’ve just seen a post on Twitter from a friend amazed at the amount of toys her 1 year old has accumulated this Christmas and she’ s wondering how the heck are they going to find room to store them all.
This is the scenario in most homes on Boxing Day when parents realize that their existing toy boxes aren’t big enough and they just don’t have enough room to store all the new playthings neatly.
Luckily this also coincides with the January Sales and if you’re lucky enough you should be able to bag a bargain and find a solution to all this mess and mayhem.

Probably the best idea is to be ruthless in the run up to Christmas and ditch those toys that are no longer played with – but a word of warning, do not involve your child in this!! As long as you don’t
dispose of their very favourite teddy or their beloved train or doll, you should be able to make a large dent in their collection without them even realizing. If you do start to feel guilty at the thought of depriving your little darlings then simply hide them for a while, so you can produce them if they suddenly realize what’s missing.
There are some brilliant childrens toy storage ideas, depending on whether you like to display their toys and give your child easy access – I’m thinking display units, shelves and book cases, or if you prefer the out of sight and clutter free bedrooms – toy boxes, chests, cupboards and cube systems.
